Cathedral Chiropractic & Acupuncture Clinic respects your privacy. Your personal data is protected in the UK by the Data Protection Act 1998. Under the Data Protection Act, we have a legal duty to protect any information we collect from you. Any information that you give us is held with the utmost care and security. User Anonymity and Use of Personal Information 

Log files are maintained and analysed of all requests for files on this website’s web servers. Log files do not capture personal information but do capture the user’s IP address, which is automatically recognised by our web servers.

Aggregated analysis of these log files is used to monitor website usage. These analyses may be made to available to our staff and partner agencies to allow them to measure, for example, overall popularity of the site and typical user paths through the site.

Except as stated already, we will make no attempt to identify individual users. As we record and use sensitive health data we take the protection of this data very seriously. The personal data we process and what we do with it

We record and use the following categories of personal data, which may include: your name, address, telephone numbers, email address and occupation; your GP details, medical history, diagnosis and treatment notes.

Sharing your personal data

We only share your personal data with your explicit consent, where, for example, if we need to contact a third party and give them your contact details in order to refer for further treatment. Where third parties are used by us to store your personal data, we ensure they are compliant with data protection law.

Retaining your personal data

Whilst you are client of ours we will continue to store and use your personal data. We will retain your personal data for a period no greater than 8 years after your last treatment. Limited information will be retained within our accounts systems indefinitely to maintain the integrity of the data.

Your rights

As we process your personal data, you have certain rights. These are: a right of access, a right of rectification, a right of erasure and a right to restrict processing.
